Dear Parents/Guardians,
Please find attached a draft policy on 'Addressing Bullying' for Good Shepherd Primary & Nursery School. This policy has been developed inlight of the new definition of bullying that has been released by the Department of Education, as well as various proceedures and guidance from the Northern Ireland Anti-bullying Forum. This policy was also informed by the information gathered in our school community questionnaires completed in June. We also completed a focus group discussion with our student council.
Please read through this draft policy and in partiuclar, the new definition of bullying, and how we plan to record any allegations and confirmed cases of bullying. Also attached is the proforma which we will record any information on.
