Dear Parents,
Our KS2 show this year is ‘Grossbusters.’ If anyone has any of the following costumes in children’s sizes, we would be very grateful if you would you please consider lending them to the school for the duration of the show. If there is a number beside any of the items that indicates the child’s age.
In particular we need:
Any furry monster costumes in a range of sizes & colours – we need lots of these!
Bowler hats – any colour
Top hats – any colour
1950s-style dress (10-11)
Child’s apron – black or red (10-11)
An 80-s female ‘power suit’ with shoulder pads – any colour (10-11)
Bow ties & braces – a variety of colours!
Black/any colour tailcoats (10-11) – Willy Wonka costumes could be used here
Any waistcoats in a variety of sizes
Ghostbuster costumes/khaki overalls (8-9 & 10-11) Need 4 of these
Orange overalls/hazmat suits with hoods – a variety of sizes
Camouflage/combat suits – need 9 of these in a variety of sizes!
Black & white striped t-shirt (10-11)
Black Men-in Black type suits (jackets/trousers) a variety of sizes
Sunglasses
2 bright-red onesies (8-9)
Round glasses
Bob-style wig – any colour
Furry clip-on tails -we need lots of these in any colour
Monster horns – we need lots of these in any colour
Feather boa – any colour
Straw hat
Elton John style glasses – the larger the better
Sequinned /striped blazer (9-11)
Burger costumes (9-11)
Brightly coloured shorts/t-shirts (think loud Hawaiian-style outfits) (9-10)
Plain tank tops – a range of sizes
Striped tights/knee socks of any colour
Green onesies – need 6 of these
If you have any of the above items, I would greatly appreciate it if you would send them into school asap in a bag labelled with your child’s name & class. That way, I can keep an inventory and ensure all items are returned at the end of the show. I have included some pictures to give you an idea of what I am looking for,
