🌼 Primary 7 Enrichment Programme: Nursery Buddies 🌼
As part of our Primary 7 Enrichment Programme, our pupils take on the special role of Nursery Buddies, spending time each week with the children in our nursery. This wonderful initiative allows our oldest pupils to join the youngest members of our school community, playing alongside them, supporting their early learning, and helping to create a nurturing and joyful environment.
Through shared games, storytelling, outdoor play, and simple conversations, our Primary 7 pupils develop responsibility, patience, and leadership, while the nursery children benefit from positive role models who guide, encourage, and celebrate their curiosity. The friendships formed during these sessions help build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and spread a real sense of belonging across our school.
Our Nursery Buddies remind us how meaningful it is when older and younger pupils learn together, play together, and grow together—one small moment at a time.
