Details of our Literacy Week Celebrations are as follows:
Monday: Children are welcome to bring in money on Monday in a clearly marked envelope if they wish to purchase a book from the travelling book fair. Teachers will assist them in selecting an appropriate book throughout the course of the week at an allocated time. it is 3 for 2 on all books!
Monday-Wednesday: Children are asked to create a scene from a book in a shoebox. All entries should be submitted by Wednesday 24th May.
Monday-Friday: Primary 7 reading buddies with foundation stage children.
Friday: Children are invited to dress up as a book character.
Friday: Parents/Guardians welcome to view the children’s creations ‘scene from a book in a shoebox’ Between 9.30am-10.30am & 1pm-3pm in the school assembly hall.
