Dear Parents/Guardians of Primary 4 children,
The Education Authority has written to schools to outline their application process for instrument tuition starting in September 2026. Please see full details in the documents attached. A summary can be found here:
- Places are limited. Places will be allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
- Instrument family allocation (strings, brass, etc.) will be determined by tutors using their professional judgement and subject to stock availability.
- The cost for lessons is £5.50 per group lesson, with £50 per year for instrumental hire.
- Children entitled to free school meals receive 70% remission on all EA Music fees.
