Dear Parents/Guardians
The Confirmation will be held on Saturday 2nd April 2022 in St. Columb's Church, Chapel Road.
- Mr. Herron's class will be at 11am
- Mrs Forbes class will be at 1.30pm
The Parish office have issued the following guidelines in order to keep our school community safe and in order to allow the ceremony to run smoothly:
- The maximum group total is 12 per Candidate (1x Candidate +2x Parents +1x Sponsor +8 Others).
- Seating arrangements: children will sit at the front with their sponsor seated directly behind. All parents/guardians are free to sit anywhere else in the church. (The children are aware of where they will be seated and of what side they sit on.)
- The Candidate’s Sponsor will accompany them forward for the Anointing with Chrism.
- Ms Marie McGreylis, the school photographer will be available on the day; before, during and after both ceremonies.
- Family members are not permitted to take photos or videos during the Ceremony but are welcome to take photos afterwards.
