An Important Message from our Eco Council

Good Shepherd Eco-Council Announcement – World Earth Day

World Earth Day takes place on 22^nd April 2026 and we are asking families to ‘Switch Off’ all non-essential electrical appliances at home for one hour. 

You can spend this hour helping the planet by recycling rubbish, going for a walk instead of driving, planting in your garden or you could just enjoy activities and games that do not use electricity.  Have fun and enjoy!

Remember a parent can email photographs of your family taking part in our ‘Switch off’ for World Earth Day to Mrs Mc Cafferty at smccafferty143@c2kni.net and these will be shown to pupils at our school Eco council assembly!
